New knitters will learn to knit, purl, cast on andbind off. Beginning knitters will learn how knit and purl stitches worktogether to create interesting patterns. Your instructor will provideinstructions and pattern to create a Scarf for your first project. Noexperience required. This class is just the basics. Registeredstudents will receive 10% off class materials.Knit 102Skill level:BeginnerFee: $20, supplies additionalDate: July22, 2010This one-session class is for knitterswho know the basics (cast on, knit, purl, cast off) and who are readyfor their first project. In this class, you learn increases, decreases,fixing twisted and dropped stitches, reading a pattern and start aproject of your choice. This is the recommended next class after Knit101. Bring light colored yarn and appropriate needles. During this one-session class students will learn all thebasic stitches of crochet (single, half-double, double and treblecrochet), joining new yarn, increasing and decreasing.
