This afghan was knit as a fundraiser for a memorial park for Sgt. Greg Moore and others lost in the line of duty. The idea was conceived by Kelley Hobart, of Alpaca Direct, who also donated the yarn and Susan Melka as the designer of this pattern. Members of our knitting group made the blocks, stitched them together, and applied the binding. Read more here in our blog article. The afghan is made of 42 blocks with finished dimensions of approximately 60” by 70”, but can be easily sized to meet your needs by adding or subtracting blocks.

We have partnered with Berroco to give others the chance to create this wonderful afghan to help thank and support your local officers who put their lives on the line ever day for our safety.
