I’ve always loved Malabrigo yarns and now you’ve made my favorite combination and weight in one. DK is my favorite weight in yarn since it’s not too heavy and not too light. And I absolutely love the softness of alpaca mixed with beautiful merino to make the perfect yarn. There’s so many things I can make from this yarn—I have a cute sweater in mind, then a brioche hat, a cowl, some fingerless gloves! You may need to add more colors.

Ooh, gorgeous colors! It would be a toss-up between a lace-and-cable knit scarf (and I have so many scarves but love to make more!) or some much-needed fingerless mitts. I suppose if the yarn is really soft it would become a scarf but if it is tighter-spun and more robust then it would be hard-wearing enough to go on hands. Love it!

I know EXACTLY what I would make with this beautiful skein of Aniversario: the Spiral Euphoria Cowl. The small version calls for the same amount in the skein of Dos Tierras, and even though the pattern calls for worsted weight, Dos Tierras, with its multiple plies and alpaca halo in DK weight, will do just fine. It will be the perfect project to show off all the colors in this great Malabrigo shade!
