Groupon Knitting 101 Class Huge Success!

by 3 February 08, 2013 1 min read

Our first Groupon Knitting 101 class was filled beyond the limit with 12 budding knitters gathered to join the ranks. It was a learning curve for all of us in different ways. Some reminders for future attendees:

  • Remember to bring your Groupon Voucher! If you did not receive a voucher then you probably haven't concluded your transaction and need to explore that situation before coming to class.
  • Leave children at home. This will enable everyone to give their full attention to the task at hand and your children will soon reap the benefits of affording Mom a much needed break to learn how to knit.
  • Relax! This is not rocket science. Each and every one of us have had to start right where you are...at the beginning. The learning never stops so just enjoy yourself.

We laughed, ate cookies, knit & unknit, purled & bound off. Some students began work on their scarf within the first 30 minutes of class, others will start next week. Women of all ages and skill sets came. It was inspiring!

If you missed out on this Groupon offer, chances are we will do it again later this year. Of course, you are always welcome to take our regular Knitting 101 class as well. Come join the fun!
