Cristaria Shrug Free Pattern

Named for a pearl mussel that produces freshwater pearls, the Cristaria shrug is a quick, pretty knit shrug that complements formal summer ensembles or casual looks alike. Add beads or pearls for a piece that is truly your own!

I recommend US size 10 circular needles, 20” or longer, so your piece doesn’t have to be scrunched up as you work.

The sample in the photo also used about 25 freshwater pearls on headpins as accents across the back. These are optional & can be varied to your heart’s content!

This pattern was originally written for Cascade Ultra Pima, but you can widen your options if you choose Sueno DK,  Universal Bamboo Pop or Hikoo CoBaSi DK!!
