INSTRUCTIONS: 
Fit: This hat is very stretchy and is sized to sit gently on the head in order to minimize “hat hair”. If you prefer a snug fit, work the next smaller size. If the recipient has a lot of hair and/or prefers a loose hat, work the next larger size. If you prefer a taller, “slouchy” hat, add more rounds to the helical crown (as noted in the pattern).

Construction: This hat features a double layered, ribbed cuff with a tubular cast on that creates a stretchy and attractive edge. The crown is worked with helical knitting, creating jog-less stripes, and the top has an unusual and fun-to-knit gathering and bind off.
