• Suggested yarn: Knitting Fever Painted Sky [100% superwash wool; 3.52oz/100g; 218yd/200m balls]; MC, #203 Steel Blue, CC1 #209 China Rose; 1 ball each.
• Yarn weight: Worsted
• Gauge: 15 sts/25 rows = 4” over charted pattern after blocking, gauge is not crucial but may affect yardage.
• Needle size: 1 set US #8/5 mm 32 inch circular needle

Deep blue water stretches to the brink of day as the first touches of vibrant orange sunshine touch the coast. Sunrise Over Sea is a worsted weight shawlette worked from the top down with a pretty feather and fan checkerboard pattern. Two different skeins of gently striping yarns are used for a transitioning color palette.

PATTERN NOTES 
This pattern is worked from the top down with double yarnover increases on each side every right side row for a crescent shape. Lace Pattern 2 can be repeated as many times as desired to increase the shawl size, please note that this will affect yardage requirements.
