When I sit down to knit in the evening, I love to have a cup tea. It's so soothing and the smell is delightful.

I was at the shop last week, and I brought home a sampler pack of our new tea, Two Leaves and a Bud, which we've just started carrying. I'm here to tell you that it's FANTASTIC!

The sampler bag contains five flavors: Organic Assam Breakfast, Organic Peppermint, Alpine Berry, Organic Better Rest, Organic Mountain High Chai.

Two Leaves and a Bud is an independent tea company based in Colorado. One thing we love about them, and that's important to us, is that they offer organic and fairly traded tea. Nothing but the best for you and for the people who manufacture this tea.

I know you're wondering which one is my favorite, and I have a couple. They're all yummy, for real, but I loved Organic Assam. I'm a huge fan of black tea, and this one is top-notch. It falls in Two Leaves and a Bud's "moderate caffeine" category, and it has the perfect amount for me; a great morning tea.

I also really enjoyed Organic Peppermint. That's my go-to flavor for herbal tea (caffeine-free), and the peppermint flavor is nice and smooth. Delish.

If you're a chai fan, you'll love Organic Mountain High Chai. I'm not, but my wife is, and she loved it. This one also has moderate caffeine.

I tried the Organic Better Rest last night, and it did relax me. No more knitting after that cuppa!

Alpine Berry is perfect if you like fruity teas. It has a mild, smooth flavor.

The tea comes in what the company calls "sachets," which are pyramid shaped bags that allow the tea leaves room to infuse completely, providing fuller flavor.

Something I love about this tea is that the packaging on each individual sachet tells you how long to steep it. In the past, this was always a guessing game for me, and I usually left it too long and got a bitter taste. But not with Two Leaves and a Bud! I really appreciate this feature.
