Even though we're still shoveling snow here in the Inland Northwest, the calendar says spring is coming, and it's time to cast on some warm-weather knitting patterns!

Here are 10 free projects we think are perfect for springtime knitting (and wearing!).

2. Let's Get Away Scarf

If you're planning any trips, this is the project for you. An easy lace pattern + beautiful gradient yarn = spring knitting perfection. I designed this scarf while I was on a trip to Yellowstone National Park, and it brings back wonderful memories every time I wear it.

3. Gentle Waves Shawlette

I just love this sweater! It's airy construction makes it perfect for transitional weather, and it works up quickly. The Noro Design team really hit it out of the park on this one. Wear the Crochet Sweater over your favorite long-sleeved tee, or over a tank in warmer weather.
