This scarf pairs two lace patterns to create a beautiful, lacy accessory. Based on a pattern from 1920, Laurie has updated this into a modern classic.

The scarf is knit in 2 sections and grafted in the center.
  • Yarn: Monterey Lace from Tactile Fiber Arts Studio, a 50/50 Merino and Silk lace weight yarn (1090 yards ), colorway Dew. I used approx. 2 oz total for the scarf (about 600 yards). The original pattern calls “4 oz. of Fine Shetland Wool” on No. 8 Needles.
  • Yarn Weight: Lace
  • Needles: US #3/3.25 mm needles
  • (US #6)

*For this project, we suggest  any of our lace-weight yarns. Please make sure to check the yardage as you will need about 600 yards for the project.
