Malabrigo Dos Tierras is here at Alpaca Direct, and we're in love! We have it in 16 colors, too. It's hard to choose which one is the most beautiful!

Malabrigo dos Tierras yarn for knitting

This yarn is DK weight with a recommended 5 or 6 US needle size, and US I to K hook. It's 50/50 Merino wool and baby alpaca, and its recommended care is hand wash cold, dry flat.

Dos Tierras produces a fabric with great stitch definition and gorgeous drape, making it perfect for projects with interesting stitch patterns, lace work, and cables.

Kelley fell hard for this yarn when she "met" it, and as soon as we had some in stock, she knit up a pair of fingerless mitts. They're beautiful!

Malabrigo Dos Tierras colorway Wales Road

Kelley used one skein of the Wales Road colorway for this pattern, Lady Violet's Dinner Gauntlets by Kristen Ashbaugh-Helmreich (free on Ravelry).

We have LOTS of dos Teirras in stock, and more on the way, so get yours now and cast on something beautiful.

Cheers,

Kathleen Cubley
