January Knitting Class Sneek Peek

by 3 December 28, 2012 1 min read

Hello friends! Maria here, in snowy North Idaho, USA, bringing you my very first post for Alpaca Direct.  I am excited and grateful to be part of the team and looking forward to making new friends while reconnecting with old ones. I have been knitting and/or crocheting for more than 40 years (learned to crochet in 4th grade!) yet there are always fun new things to try! Join me as I continue my journey into the colorful, imaginative and deeply satisfying world of fiber arts.

As the New Year kicks off we are offering two different classes in store. The first is based on a Skacel pattern book called Building Blocks. Michelle Hunter has compiled a set of 12 patterns, each making a knitted "block" and covering a new skill set for you to learn and master. When you are finished with this class you will have a beautiful Sampler Blanket showcasing your repetoir of new stitches! Great class for fairly new knitters or experienced ones.

Our second class is a knit-along for socks called Progressive Needle Knit-Along. Since the nature of a knit-along is secretive I don't have many particulars about this class. Knit-alongs are always full of fun and laughter so if you need a little mystery in your life, be sure and join us.

Remember to bookmark our classes page at http://classes.alpacadirect.com.  Here you will be able to stay abreast of our latest class offerings!

My knitting needles are crying out for attention so I will see you again soon!

It seems the classes you mention are not on the January calendar. Need more details: when, what yarn, how much $, please. Need defeats.
