addi Turbo Rockets have the silky smooth nickel-plated finish that is so well-known on the addi Turbos. If you haven’t tried addi Turbos, they allow the stitches to slide along the needles at incredible speeds, and the join is very smooth (see photo at left).
Some folks may find them a little too slippery, but I am all about speed so these are great for me.
I found that the addi Rocket tips aren't quite as sharp as the addi Lace tips, but they're just right for me. I can knit even faster than normal with these needles; they are super comfortable with a thin flexible cord.
If you need a needle with a little more grab, the Karbonz by Knitter's Pride might be a good choice for you.
Many of us knit garments and accessories, but not home decor pieces. Kelley is working on her Cable Channel Knit-Along project, which is a pillow cover, and it got me thinking about all of the cool projects you can knit to bring your love of fiber into your home. Kelley shows you how to knit the Left Twist. This is a nice complementary stitch to regular cabling, plus you can add these twists without the extra work of using a cable needle. This stitch looks good as a border on the edge of regular cables.
